Face Peeling Because Of New Cleanser?

I started using neutrogena’s pink grapefruit face scrub about 5 days ago and now the places on my fave that are usually really oily have started peeling.
It’s not the salicylic acid in it, because I have successfully used 3 other face washes from them.
Is there any home remedies that could fix this…preferably before tomorrow because of a band concert?

If that happens to you with any product STOP USING IT! It could be harmful to your skin because it could be the chemicals or you could have a allergic reaction. Stop using it and try something else. But you most also know that you most moisturize after you wash your face. To keep away the dryness.
Update!:
Stay away from soap bars!!!! Soap bars have harass chemicals for the face but only safe for the body. Your face is more fragile/delicate than your body. Soap bars are only for your body. This applys to hand soap too.
It actually could be the salicylic acid or w/e its called. The Neutragena probably just has a higher percentage compared to your last ones. The same thing happened to me with Benzyl Peroxide except for that I was allergic to it. You’ll probably need to quit using it if everything is burning and it’s only been a few days. Just bare with the soap (so that the grease isn’t really bad) and then it’ll feel better in a few days. You could try it again in the summer. Winter is dry season.
well, u should try making a face masque..
i always make my self a masque using avocado by mushing on or two avocados in a small bowl then with a brush ior using your fingers put it all over your face. that always makes my skin really soft and shiny!!(im not so sure if it works on peeling skin.but u should try it anyway)
Acne creams dry out your skin a lot, they are ment to dry out the zit so it’s importent to put a small amount and right on the zit. I would say to leave your face alone for a while. Try putting on some milk lotion when you feel good about it.
the best thing to do is go to a walgreens and pick up exfoliating scrub (store brand)… it rubs away the peeling skin, then, moisturize afterwards.
No, not that i know of. But may i suggest a face moisturizer from Aveno? I had a similar problem and it cleared up in a day and a half.
Sometimes you just have to deal with a quick burn.
Don’t use the cleanser every morning and night, maybe just at night or just in the morning, or maybe every other day.
It sounds like its drying your skin out, try moisturizing your face more often and maybe use the facial scrub every other day.
get moisturizer for now and don’t use scrub everyday. same with masks. once a week up to 3 times a week is enough. otherwise you’re damaging your skins natural oils
dont use the cleasner for a little while.
