My Face Won’t Stop Peeling?
My face started peeling when I started using ProActive. I used all three steps, then after a while switched to two, then to after one, because it was too strong. I switched to a wet and wild facial soap that has salicylic acid and it says it exfoliates. After ProActive, i started using this differen cream prescribed by my dermatologist. I wash my face in the shower, and scrub it a lot with my washcloth. After that, i put on the cream, and then lotion. When i put on the lotion my face stings really bad for a few seconds. I go to bed, and when i wake up in the morning, my face is peeling around my eyes, under my chin leading to my ear. Around my mouth, and right around my nostrils.
I hate when it peels and i just wish it would stop. In case this is relevant, I live in the desert, so i get really dry skin sometimes. Lotion does cover my peeling sometimes, but doesn’t really get rid of it. Thanx for any answers :]

totally thought your question said “my face won’t stop peeing”
um i would not use proactive because it either works or doesnt…and it looks like its isnt working for you
best thing to do is use dove soap to wash your face and get a liquid perscreption from the dermatologist that will dry your skin and then neutragina moisturizer
if the face wash you use exfoliates..you might want to just use your hands and gently scrub your face…i would say instead of putting the lotion on every night try putting it on every other day and see if it helps…also it sounds like you have sensitive skin..next time when you go to the dermatologyst ask him if he has anything more mild for sensitive skin..
You’re over scrubbing your face, and using way too many products. Just use plain soap and a good moisturiser like Aqueous cream.
your dermatologist should be able to advise you when to stop or when to switch to a more diluted solution.
Using a lot of products can be really harsh on your skin, and make it dry. Try using an oil-free moisturizer in the mornings and see if that helps!
Hydrocordizone cream and try not to use astringents
My derma would always tell me to stop using the product until I get an appointment with her… So I suggest you do the same thing.
BTW, scrubbing isn’t really good for your skin.
have you tried a face moisturizer?Dove works really well.
dont use so much product it is really bad for your skin….. worse than zits themselves
